BioPersonality Cara (Insight) is kind and quiet but extremely intelligent.
Physical description/Play by Cara is 5ft 5 with green eyes and shoulder length red hair. She has a petite frame and a sweet girl-next-door look. PB: Bryce Dallas Howard
History
When Cara was young her parents sent her to private school believing her intelligence was above normal. She was able to remember everything she had ever read, discussed or seen. Along with her parents, Cara did not even consider the possibility that it could be a mutant ability, until she reached high school. Whilst studying in the school library one day, Cara became overwhelmed with sadness, stumbling into the bathrooms she found one of her classmates crying. The closer she got the more overwhelmed Cara felt, from then on she felt the emotions of everyone she came into contact with. Informing her parents they sent her to an institute where she was treated similarly to a mental patient. Upon release she enrolled at university and has not spoken to her parents since. Despite the resentment she holds towards them, whilst institutionalised she did learn to better control her powers. After completing university a year early she started working as a freelance writer. After a visit from a fellow graduate who now worked for the police, she found herself working occasionally for the local police department; her empathic ability and heightened reasoning skills making her an ideal interrogator. Cara keeps herself to herself and has not had much interaction with fellow mutants, mostly because in heightened situations she still finds it hard to fully control her powers.
(Other info - Cara's ability to sense what is real and what is not makes her resistant to illusions and psychic projections.)
